Price of Sessions
Individual Counselling Sessions - £50 per hour.
Working with children (ages 12-18) - it is necessary to obtain consent from a parent or guardian. Additionally, you will receive a safeguarding policy along with the standard contract. Sessions are charged at a rate of £50 per hour. However, for younger children who may not require the full hour, the fee will be adjusted to £40 for a 40-minute session.
Couples Counselling- £65 per hour.
Supervision Sessions - £50 per hour or £75 for 1.5 hours
Concessions - are offered for individuals facing financial difficulties. If you find yourself in need of such assistance, please inform me. Additionally, should you encounter any financial challenges after the commencement of sessions, do not hesitate to discuss this with me, as I utilise a sliding scale for fees.
Sessions that are offered - Sessions are available in three formats: face-to-face, telephone, and video calls. Please be aware that for video and telephone sessions, payment must be made in advance via bank transfer. These remote sessions are designed to provide the same experience as in-person meetings, so it is essential to be in a private environment where you can speak openly without interruptions, and to be appropriately dressed.
Amount of sessions - There is no predetermined number of sessions; you, as the client, have the flexibility to choose how many sessions you would like, whether on a weekly or biweekly basis. At the conclusion of each session, you will have the opportunity to schedule your next appointment if you wish to continue.
Available times - Appointments are available from Monday to Friday, between 9:15AM and 8:30PM, and on weekends from 9:15AM to 6:00PM, subject to availability.
Payments - are typically made via bank transfer and should be completed no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Please note that my cancellation policy is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session. Should you have any inquiries regarding payment, feel free to reach out. Receipts can be provided upon request.
Confidentiality - is a priority, and I will ensure that our discussions remain private. However, there may be rare instances where confidentiality must be breached, such as in cases of harm to self or harm to others; in such situations, I will make every effort to inform you. A contract outlining these confidentiality limits will be discussed during our first session, as is standard practice in counseling.
Ethics - as an accredited counselor, I adhere to the ethical framework set forth by the BACP and participate in regular supervision every two weeks for 1.5 hours, exceeding the BACP's minimum requirements to ensure ethical and safe practice.
Insurance - I maintain specific insurance for counseling services and am equipped to conduct sessions from home, online, or via telephone. I comply with GDPR regulations, am registered with the ICO, and hold a full DBS check.
